Serious Eats: Talk
I started eating meat recently and am a bit overwhelmed. Help?
I don't really know why - I just had a craving for roasted chicken and a couple days later roasted some chicken and ate it (and loved it!). I quit eating meat when I was 16 and I'm in my early 30s now. So since the chicken incident, I've tried a tiny bite of steak (not really my thing) and salami sandwiches (really my thing!).
What should I try making next? Also it's my husband's birthday next week and I'd like to surprise him with a nice dinner. Maybe short ribs? Or should I make a pork dish because I like salami more than steak? See, I'm confused!
